The Urban League of Louisiana’s Women-In-Business Challenge (WIB) is a business accelerator program and pitch competition for early-stage businesses owned by female entrepreneurs. The WIB program empowers women to “Think Bigger” in the pursuit of innovative, technology-driven, and socially responsible businesses, and encourages women to pursue market growth in male-dominated industries or those that provide critical services to women and girls.

The 9-module accelerator program provides impactful business education and training, technical assistance, one-on-one consulting, mentorship by seasoned entrepreneurs, and peer networking. The goal is to increase the ability of these early-stage, women-owned enterprises to have the same performance potential as male-owned startups, creating economic and global impact.

During New Orleans Entrepreneur Week, four finalists will compete for $10,000 in seed capital to aid them in the growth of their businesses.
