Join the Loyola University Center for Entrepreneurship and Community Development, in partnership with The Idea Village, Greater New Orleans, Inc, and the New Orleans Business Alliance for the 2024 IDEAcorps MBA Consulting Challenge, presented by Dr. Bobby and Lori Kent Savoie!
Nine MBA teams from across the country will present their scale-up strategies for nine local startups, with over $30,000 in prizes for the top company clients and MBA teams alike.

THE BIG IDEA SHOWCASE

On Wednesday, March 13th, 20+ IDEAinstitute alumni companies will showcase their innovative businesses through a special showcase at Gallier Hall.
This event provides these top selected early stage founders an opportunity to present their ventures and demonstrate their growth, all for a chance to be selected as the winner of the showcase by you (NOEW attendees!).
This is a unique experience for NOEW attendees to play the role of "investor" as they cast their votes for the most promising startup from the region.

THE MAYOR’S CHALLENGE

On Wednesday, March 13th, the second annual Mayor’s Challenge, presented by the City of New Orleans and The Idea Village, will take place on the NOEW stage at Gallier Hall.
In this high-energy competition, top selected founders will pitch their #CultureTech startups for a chance to win the grand prize of $25,000 to help further scale their company. Each venture must demonstrate that it is harnessing the power of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality (AR), Web3, and other emerging tech to solve problems or create opportunities for creators and consumers of culture.

3rd COAST VENTURE SUMMIT

Taking place from Wednesday, March 13th, to Friday, March 15th, the inaugural 3rd Coast Venture Summit will be held at Tulane University and various locations throughout New Orleans. This event is in strategic alignment with NOEW 2024.
During this highly curated event, national investors will engage with some of the Gulf South’s most groundbreaking technologies and startups that are disrupting existing industries and leading in new ones.
